BUSINESSES in the Market Street area of Huddersfield town centre will remain open as usual despite water works.
Yorkshire Water is spending £1.8m on upgrading sewer overflow pipes in the busy road.
Project manager Dominic Cunney said the work would help improve the environment.
He said: "Inevitably there will be some disruption while our work is carried out, but we'd like to remind customers that all businesses are open as usual."
