EXAMINER business reporter Henryk Zientek made the news - when he was recognised for 25 years service with the paper.
He was presented with gifts to mark the milestone during a business networking event at the Galpharm Stadium.
The goodies included a hamper supplied by award-winning Marsh butcher Andrew Jones and a case of real ales from Patrick Clarke, of Mirfield-based beersinabox.com.
The presentations were made during a LunchNet meeting organised by Edgerton-based PNG Marketing Ltd.
Mr Jones and Mr Clarke also brought some of their products for delegates to sample. More than 30 delegates took part in the event, which brings people together to strengthen business links.
Delegates were drawn from sectors including banking, public relations, stockbroking, internet services, legal services and corporate hospitality.
The event also included a Christmas lunch and magic tricks by Birkenshaw-based conjurer and corporate entertainer John Hotowka.
