HUDDERSFIELD businesses joined forces to stage a charity fashion show.

The companies raised £650 when they held the glamorous event at Kirkwood Hospice, where clients, friends and nurses modelled outfits on the catwalk.

The cash will be given to the Dalton-based hospice.

Fenay Bridge company, Pure Indulgence, organised the event and provided makeup for the catwalk models.

Hairdressers from Fenay Bridge based Salon 86 styled their hair and local clothing company Dare dressed them.

Other businesses supported the event by providing raffle prizes.

Karen Hawker, of Pure Indulgence, wanted to hold a charity event to support the hospice, which cared for her late father Eric Lee.

She said: “It’s a fantastic charity, and they need all the money they can get.’’
