THE four members from top boy band Blue are to go their separate ways next year.

But don't panic, girls - it's only a temporary break.

Chart heart-throbs Lee Ryan, 20, Duncan James, 25, Simon Webbe, 25 and Anthony Costa, 22, will be pursuing solo projects.

The band - who will play a concert with Girls Aloud! at Huddersfield's McAlpine Stadium on July 31- want a break after an exhausting three years of chart success.

They have had three number one albums and three chart-topping singles.

Their new album will be out in November and a greatest hits tour will take place next February.

After the tour ends, the boys will take their well-earned break.

Simon is rumoured to be setting up his own music management company and plans to break into films, starting with British film Run this summer.

Lee is said to be working on a solo album and Duncan is allegedly taking voice lessons from a RADA teacher.

Anthony is said to be aiming for a career in TV.

The band have stressed that they want to re-form after their break.

A spokesman for the band said: "This definitely does not mean the end of the band. The boys insist they have a long way to go yet."
