Careers service staff are running free half-day seminars to help people in their late forties and early fifties – both in and out of work.

The “Taking Stock” sessions are being held in Huddersfield, Dewsbury and Halifax by Calderdale and Kirklees Careers.

The sessions aim to help 45 to 55-year-olds evaluate their life, job or career and learn how to overcome barriers to employment.

The sessions will be held:

Today and on Monday October 21 at Dewsbury Town Hall.

Tomorrow and on Thursday October 24 at Halifax Careers Centre, Alexandra Street, Halifax.

On Friday October 18 and Friday October 25 at Huddersfield Careers and Connexions Centre, High Street, Huddersfield.

All sessions run from 10am to 1pm. People are allowed to attend one review only.
