A DRIVE to increase the number of police from ethnic minorities is being launched in West Yorkshire.
The force is one of four in the UK chosen for the recruitment drive to increase the number of black and ethnic minority officers.
There are events giving information about the job in Huddersfield and Dewsbury next month.
Assistant Chief Constable Steve Smith said: "In West Yorkshire we are lucky enough to have a rich mix of cultures and religions.
"We can serve the community better if our force reflects the cultural diversity of the region."
