Readers love to rise to a nostalgia challenge and that’s happened again on our appeal for information for names for this photo.
It’s of Paddock County Junior School in 1961/62 and was sent to us by Jeff Mellor who was struggling to remember many of the names.
But one of those on it was Allan Lockwood who is far right on the middle row.
He says the back row is Ian (can’t recall his surname), Graham Whiteley (second left) and Alan Saddington (right).
But he has a full house for the middle row which is (from left) John Fairbanks, Jeff Mellor, David Pitcher, Gary Driscoll and Allan Lockwood.

The front row he names is Terry Knott (second left) with a lad called Moorhouse in the middle and a boy called Pearson on the right.
And reader David Devlin chipped in with another name from the front row.
He said: “Regarding the photo from 1961/62 I think the boy second from the right on the front row is David Milnes. I played for Oakes County Junior School at the same time and somewhere I have a well worn Examiner photo of us receiving the Section B shield. If it is David Milnes he was at the New College at the same time as me.”
