A motorist suffered serious injuries in a crash in Paddock last night.
The red BMW crashed into a wall near a take-away in Market Street at around 6pm.
The driver was treated by paramedics and found to have suffered serious head injuries.
He was taken by ambulance to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.
Police investigating the crash closed the road at the junction with Church Street and Brow Road until 10.30pm.
