A MILNSBRIDGE bakery escaped serious damage when a blazing car crashed into it.
The incident was at 10.44pm on Saturday , when a stolen Volkswagen Polo car was set alight and rolled down Market Street, hitting the side of Hadfields Bakery.
Firefighters from Huddersfield were called to the scene and caught the blaze before it spread to the bakery.
The VW Polo was thought to have been stolen.
