A CRASH between a car and a lorry saw two people taken to hospital this afternoon.

A CRASH between a car and a lorry saw two people taken to hospital this afternoon.

At around 3.05pm a silver Vauxhall Vectra estate and a Volvo lorry collided close to the junction of Wellington Street and Oakes Road in Oakes.

An elderly man and woman were taken to HRI.

Neither are believed to have suffered serious injuries.
