TOP class customer service has won a career-finding group a national award.
The Cabinet Office's Charter Mark Standard has been given for the eighth year running to Calderdale and Kirklees Careers Ltd, the local careers guidance and Connexions Service provider.
The Charter Mark is awarded by the Cabinet Office for excellence in customer service, and has been held by the company continuously since 1997.
The Huddersfield- based company was assessed last month for its work with young people, adults and for providing work experience placements.
The assessor said in his report: "This is an organisation that ... excels in its ability to meet the needs of its users.
"Undoubtedly its real strength lies with its staff. They are well led. They are professional, well trained, motivated and committed to customer service."
Jack Costello, chief executive, said: "All our staff are totally committed to providing the highest quality information, advice and guidance to people of all ages in Calderdale and Kirklees and to making an impact on the local community."
