TRADITIONAL carols could be heard through the grounds of Beaumont Park yesterday.
This year’s carol concert was hosted with the Sellers International Youth Band and St Barnabas’ Choir.
Father Christmas led the lantern procession to the bandstand at 2.30pm ahead of the carols.
More than 100 people gathered to take part in the celebration and enjoy mince pies and mulled wine after the carols.
This is the second year the carol service has taken place in the splendour of the recently restored bandstand.
