HUDDERSFIELD businesswoman Caroline Whittle has gone up in the world.
She's had a high-class high-heeled shoe named after her.
Moda In Pelle - a Leeds-based shoe manufacturers - has named a glamorous new stiletto the Whittle, after Mrs Whittle who is fashion director at Peters.
The bronze and black diamante high-heel sandals are in Moda In Pelle's autumn collection and have gone on sale at £69.99 a pair.
Peters is the only Huddersfield firm to stock Moda In Pelle, which has its own stores and stocks its products in department stores countrywide.
Peters has one of Moda In Pelle's biggest department store collections.
Mrs Whittle, wife of Peter's managing director David Whittle, said: "I think it's just because we have a long standing relationship with Moda In Pelle.
"It's very exciting. I'm a shoe person.
"I have got hundreds of pairs at home.
"My husband keeps saying I can't have any more. But I have to have a pair of these!"
