UNIVERSITY lecturer Caroline Hook is celebrating today.

She has become the latest winner of the Examiner's sensational Six Days of Christmas competition.

She has scooped £2,000 of goodies from Broadbent Euronics in Swan Lane, Lockwood.

It looks as though Caroline, 55, and her partner Stephen Papworth may have their eye on a top of the range widescreen TV in time for Christmas.

Caroline, who lectures in human resource management at the University of Huddersfield, said: "It's fabulous news, coming so close to Christmas.

"It was a fantastic competition with a great prize and I am delighted to have won."

Caroline, who has worked at the University for the past 12 years, lives in Rockwood Rise, Denby Dale.

Her entry was drawn out after she collected four tokens from a particular day.

Tomorrow's prize is £2,000 to spend at Thatchers Furnishings in Threadneedle Street, Huddersfield.

Friday's winner will pick up £2,000 to spend at the Colne Valley Garden Centre at Scar Lane, Milnsbridge.

Saturday's lucky winner will have £2,000 to spend at Beatties department store in Kingsgate.

Each day there are also 10 runners-up prizes of £50 of High Street vouchers.

The runners-up can claim their prizes from the Examiner offices in Queen Street South.
