Case against imitation firearm accused is withdrawn

A MAN accused of possessing an imitation firearm has had the charge dropped.

Jamie Hargreaves, 18, faced one allegation of having an imitation firearm, a Black Typhoon pistol, in a public place.

The offence was alleged to have taken place at Bishops Court, Berry Brow, on August 1.

However yesterday the case against Hargreaves, of Bentley Street, Lockwood, was dismissed at Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court.
