Police have released this CCTV of a man they want to trace after an assault at a pub in Gomersal.

The incident broke out at the Shoulder of Mutton pub in Oxford Road on Friday, July 4, when a man was struck in the head.

The victim did not suffer a serious injury.

Police have issued this CCTV image in connection with inquiry. The man pictured is described as white, aged in his mid 20s, of stocky or muscular build and around 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall.

He has short light brown hair, was clean shaven and wore a white long-sleeved shirt and suit trousers.

Pc Phil Miller from the Spen and Batley Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this assault or knows the man pictured to get in contact on 101.”
