A LAW firm is looking to the future.

Chadwick Lawrence, with offices at Railway Street in Huddersfield, has launched a young professionals’ networking group to offer up-and-coming professionals the chance to forge new business links and develop professional business relationships.

The firm said it recognised the importance of nurturing and developing the networking skills of Yorkshire’s future business leaders, adding that during this tough economic climate, building relationships has never been so important.

The networking group has been formed with the aim of building relationships and sharing experiences with like-minded young professionals in Yorkshire.

The group is already active on social networking sites Twitter and LinkedIn, but will hold its first networking event from 6pm to 7pm on Thursday, February 23, at The Cotton Factory in King Street, Huddersfield.

Lewis Hastie, a solicitor of Chadwick Lawrence, said: “We formed Yorkshire’s Young Professionals networking group after recognising that there was a lack networking opportunities for young people in Yorkshire.

“We wanted to form a group that would encourage people to develop professional relationships in a sociable environment, as networking can often be a daunting experience.”
