FREE chains will be handed out at Dewsbury Market in a bid to foil pickpockets.
The chains will be given to shoppers who are considered most at risk during a Safer Communities event on Saturday, July 30.
Kirklees Council's markets department has bought more than 400 chains, which fasten into a bag or pocket. They will be given out by Rotary Club members.
