JOBS have been lost at a business services organisation in Huddersfield.
The Aspley-based Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce said a "small number" of redundancies had been made among the 300-plus workforce as part of moves to cut costs.
But chief executive Keith Welton said services to the chamber's 2,000 member companies across Kirklees, Wakefield and Calderdale had not been affected.
He said: "We live in a very competitive environment. We have to look at the whole of our costs."
Chamber services include export documentation, payroll, childcare support and carrying out economic surveys and lobbying on behalf of businesses.
