A HUDDERSFIELD town centre shop has raised £2,450 for Kirkwood Hospice, Dalton, bringing its total gifts to the charity to £14,614.
Staff at Strawberry Fair gift shop in Westgate offer free gift wrapping throughout the year, in return for donations to the hospice.
The idea was the brainchild of shop owner Philip Harrison and has been supported by his staff since 1999.
Irene Vincent, who works at the shop and presented hospice fundraising official Kate Leadbeater with the cash, said: "The hospice is always in need of funding. You've got to support your own charity on your doorstep."
