ROAD safety charity Brake is asking people to help raise cash for its work.
The national charity, based in Huddersfield, is running a Get Moving campaign and wants people to do sponsored walks, swims, runs or horse and cycle rides.
The money raised will help Brake promote road safety, support people injured in crashes and families who have lost loved ones in road accidents.
Brake is urging families, schools and running clubs to take part. Teachers who get involved receive a free guide to educating children on road safety.
Mary Williams, chief executive of Brake, said: "Brake's Get Moving campaign is a great way of reminding everyone of the vulnerability of pedestrians and cyclists."
