SECOND-HAND baby clothes and homemade crafts will be for sale in Huddersfield to support the work of a charity which helps new mums and dads.

The Joanne (Joe) Bingley Memorial Foundation wants to raise awareness and de-stigmatise post-natal depression.

Chris Bingley set up the charity in memory of his wife Joe, who committed suicide 10 weeks after the arrival of their daughter Emily Jane, in April 2010. She was hit by a train at Deighton.

The sale is at Parkwood Methodist Church’s Spring Fair, in Parkwood Road, Huddersfield on March 24 from 10am to 2pm.

A spokesman for the foundation said: “If you are feeling creative, or you know someone who does handicrafts we would love to sell your work; or maybe you would like to donate your baby’s outgrown clothes or toys?”

To help, got to the website, www.joebingleymemorialfoundation.org.uk or search for the charity on Facebook.
