BUS and train passengers are being urged: Check the timetable before you travel at Christmas and new year.
No regular buses will run on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
And it's a Saturday or Sunday service on many other days.
A Metro spokesman said: "Passengers should check carefully."
In general, there will be a Saturday bus service on Friday, December 24, Wednesday, December 29, Thursday, December 30, and Friday, December 31.
There will be a Sunday bus service on Monday, December 27, Tuesday, December 28, Sunday January 2 and Monday January 3.
On Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve bus services will stop between 6pm and 8pm.
The only bus services on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year's Day will be run by community-based voluntary services.
Train services will generally run as normal in Yorkshire between Christmas and the new year.
Rail services will stop by 9pm on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, and start after 9am on Monday, December 27, Tuesday, December 28, and January 3.
There are no train services on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Metro concessionary fares, West Yorkshire DayRover and Cheap Day return tickets (rail only) can be used all day on Monday, December 27, and Tuesday, December 28, as well as on Monday, January 3.
