THE nation's two favourite tipples to come in pints are being bottled round the clock at a Dewsbury farm.

When milk production finishes for the day at Thornhill Hall Farm, specialist beers start being bottled overnight.

The scheme is the brainchild of Huddersfield entrepreneurs Patrick Clarke and Graham Dunning, of Clarke's Organic Group, and dairy farmer Gary Rawson.

Patrick and Graham set up their firm to help micro-breweries reach a wider market.

Tiny independent brewers cannot usually afford the costs of bottling.

"Our aim is to market, sell and distribute a wide range of quality, hand-crafted, micro-brewed real, organic and vegetarian ales," said Patrick.

Equipment used for milk production is cleaned and switched to beer bottling in the evening.
