GOLFERS have raised £1,400 for Holme Valley Mountain Rescue.
Members of Meltham Golf Club raised the cash during the year by raffles and the sale of homemade cakes, tea and coffee on competition days.
The money was handed over by the Mrs Margaret Bottomore, who chose the charity for her year as lady captain.
