Two motorists were injured in a horror crash at the junction of Chickenley Lane and Wakefield Road, Chickenley, last night.
A woman was rescued from her Peugeot convertible and taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg following a collision with a Vauxhall Vectra at around 7.50pm on Friday.
A man was also taken to hospital with minor injuries after his car struck the Peugoet and careered up an embankment and into a fence.
The accident was attended by police and fire crews from Dewsbury and Ossett.
Wakefield Road was reopened by police at 9.25pm yesterday.
