How do you behave on public transport?

Are you courteous towards your fellow passengers, or do you simply not care?

One city is trying to crack down on a selfish habit by male commuters that can stop other passengers from having a seat.

New York Metro authority is trying to stop men from sitting with their legs spread really wide on public transport.

So called 'man spreading' is apparently a big enough problem that the Metropolitan Transport Authority is launching a new awareness campaign to make people more courteous about their public transport behaviour.

The campaign also targets inconsiderate backpack wearers. Annoying behaviour such as people who don't take their big backpacks off, littering, and putting feet on the seats were targeted in a similar Transport for London campaign- although 'man spreaders' were ignored.

What bad public transport habits send you off the rails?

Perhaps it's people that chat loudly on their mobiles, or commuters who insist on placing their bag on the seat next to them.
