THE time to clean up our town is now.
The Examiner is supporting Kirklees Council's crackdown on the yobs who turn our towns and villages into an eyesore by scrawling names and obscenities on building and walls - and we need your help.
Community groups can get scrubbing by picking up kits from the council and help fight back against the vandals who daub their names across town.
The kits worth £15, which are sponsored by engineering company Parker Hannifin Filter Division and Yorkshire Water, include graffiti-removal spray, water spray, gloves, scrubbing brush, goggles and cloths.
The message is clear - you can make a difference.
