FOURTEEN people were arrested by the end of last week's crime clampdown in Kirklees Council's Ashbrow ward.
Police and Kirklees Council officials joined forces to tackle problems in Bradley, Brackenhall, Deighton and Riddings.
By the end of the five days 14 arrests had been made for offences ranging from theft to assault. Two of those arrested were in a stolen car.
Two homes were raided by police searching for guns, but no weapons were found.
Sixteen cars were taken off the roads. Some were being driven by uninsured people while others were unroadworthy.
One taxi driver had his licence suspended because his car was deemed to be in a potentially dangerous condition. Three others were taken off the road by vehicle examination experts.
