A HUDDERSFIELD community centre hit by internal rows will get cash from Kirklees Council.
But in return the Sikh Leisure Centre in Springwood must make promises about its future running.
The sum of £26,333 has been promised from town hall coffers.
The council suspended funding in August this year after the centre was effectively without any leadership.
New elections were held later this year, which helped resolve the difficulties.
Kirklees Council is stipulating that in order to receive the grant, the leisure centre organisers should make clear their proposals for the future and their action plan for promoting good relations with other communities in the area.
The council said further grant allocations for next year were dependent on the requirements being met.
Officers said they would closely monitor the Sikh Leisure Centre's progress against conditions of the grant.
The management committee and trus- tees of the leisure centre have been to the High Court on several occasions to resolve internal disputes concerning the running of the organisation.
