A CAMPAIGN to get people to check their blood pressure comes to Huddersfield on Saturday.

The event is being organised by Rotary clubs nationwide and the Huddersfield and Pennine clubs have joined forces to organise an event in the town centre parish church.

Meanwhile, Kirklees Mayor Clr Margaret Fearnley is seen getting her blood pressure checked by retired nurse Sheila Wood, a member of the Pennine Ladies' Rotary Club.

The event on Saturday will give people the opportunity to have their blood pressure checked by trained nursing staff.

It will be held between 10am and noon and 2pm and 4pm.
