Co-op food is paying dividends

HUDDERSFIELD Technical College has hosted a showcase of top British food.

The college joined forces with The Co-operative Group to host the event yesterday.

Chefs demonstrated a range of popular healthy recipes, using British ingredients from the Co-op.

Madhusudhan Roy, local Co-op affairs officer, said: “The Co-op believes that promoting good diet and health is a priority,

“This event gave people tips on transforming ingredients into a classic British family meal with a healthy twist.”
