HUDDERSFIELD restaurant Chino Thai is selling up.
The King Street bar-restaurant, which specialises in Thai and Cantonese food, is being sold as part of the company's expansion plans.
Chino Thai was opened in Huddersfield three years ago.
There is a sister restaurant in Bradford.
Huddersfield's two-floor premises are larger and the company has now decided to let them go.
But the company is looking for a bigger site in the middle of Huddersfield.
Chino Thai is set to close next week.
But a new firm will be taking over the premises.
It will be trading under the name of Shang Thai, a family-run business.
A number of Chino Thai staff members will remain working there.
Managing director Charalene Lee said: "We feel sad to be letting go of our first Chino Thai.
"However, we have seen the business go from strength to strength.
"We just didn't have enough space to meet demand from our customers.
"We would like to open up another branch in the town centre, but this will not be for another year or so," added Ms Lee.
