A SUPERMARKET cashier is thought to have been the victim of a scam.
Now we’d like your help in tracking down the couple in these pictures.
The man and woman, believed to be East European, went into the Lidl store on Wakefield Road in Aspley.
They picked up a lawnmower and took it to the till at the front of the store.
It is believed they intentionally handed over too much cash when asked for payment.
When the staff member told the couple they had given her more than she had asked for they took back the money and counted out what they claimed to be the correct amount.
The cashier accepted the new amount and the pair left the store.
It was later realised that they had handed over about £100 less than they should have.
The man is about 5ft 7ins tall and has a moustache and dark black hair.
The woman is about 5ft 2ins tall, slim and is thought to have a gold tooth.
The incident happened at about 6.20pm on March 18.
These pictures show the two people suspected of the crime.
