THE leaders of the four main political parties in Kirklees will take part in a debate on green and environmental issues as part of Huddersfield Green Fest 2011.
Andrew Cooper, Kath Pinnock, Robert Light and Mehboob Khan will form a panel on Wednesday, March 30, in the Huddersfield University Business School.
The talk will focus on each party’s environmental policies and wider national issues with the public invited to take part in a question and answer session.
The talk will follow a day-long Green Conference at the University which features a range of green and eco speakers including Betty’s and Taylor’s, Friends of the Earth and Kate Lock, author of the book ‘Confessions of an Eco Shopper’.
Entry to the conference and political talk is free of charge with the talk beginning at 6.30pm.
