A CONTROVERSIAL road improvement plan has been endorsed by Labour and Conservatives on Kirklees Council.
Both parties have backed plans for £4m investment in the district's roads.
But Lib Dem councillors opposed the move when it was discussed by Kirklees Council.
Conservative transport cabinet member Martyn Bolt announced the plan in September but Lib Dem councillors forced a review at the Overview and Scrutiny Committee.
They claimed that the pothole repairs were biased towards Tory wards. But the committee endorsed Clr Bolt's plans.
