IN A little over 48 hours time, a lucky Examiner reader will be at the wheel of a gleaming new motor!

One lucky person out of our 10 finalists will drive home in a Kia Picanto thanks to the Examiner’s Win A Car contest.

The £6,000 car, provided by Longley Park Motors, will be up for grabs on Saturday afternoon at the Kingsgate Centre in Huddersfield.

All 10 finalists will compete in an inflatable booth to grab prize tickets – a game pioneered on the TV show The Crystal Maze.

Here are two more of Saturday’s finalists.

Farmer Richard Hampshire, 32, lives at Sheepcote Farm in Emley Moor.

He is married to Nikki and the couple have four children – Rebecca, Jack, Georgia and Harrison. He learned of his final place while harvesting on the family farm.

Mrs Zofia Gabanski, an Examiner reader all her life, is 76 and a widow. She has two children and two grandchildren and for many years worked in her own grocery shop, before becoming a typist at the Moldgreen firm of Woodfield and Stanley. She said: “I do drive, but I’m without a car at the moment, so to win would be wonderful”.
