A COUPLE have donated £200 to help the Huddersfield Contact Centre.
Andrew and Emily Blyth hope staff there will use the money to buy toys for children who use the centre.
The Almondbury couple wanted to donate the money to support the work of the staff who they described as “fantastic”.
Mr Blyth, a property developer, and Mrs Blyth, 27, who runs the Nail Pod at Golcar, wanted to help the New North Parade centre which is a place of sanctuary for families.
Mr Blyth, 30, said: “If they can get a few extra toys then great, as it is something for the children.
“I am hoping they will get something which is going to give stimulation and education to the children who go there.
“I think it is a really great place, I take my hat off to them for what they are doing, the manager is fantastic. They survive on grants and donations and we wanted to help them in any way we could.”
