THE licensees of a Brighouse pub have won an award for their retailing skills.
The Martin's Nest, Bradford Road, has received a Shine Award from the Punch Pub Company.
The accolade will be presented to licensees Shaun and Elaine Fountain tomorrow at a ceremony in Otley.
The award is made to pubs which demonstrate outstanding entrepreneurial skills and first class customer service.
Ninety regional Shine Awards will be handed out across the country this month.
Regional winners will go forward to a national final in the autumn - with the chance to win a first prize of £1,000 and a two-week Caribbean holiday.
