Alexandra Hamiltons Hotchkiss, 52, of Leeds Road, Huddersfield. Stole a pair of headphones worth £50 from Sainsbury’s, Huddersfield, on February 7. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Ordered to pay a £20 surcharge and £85 costs.

Curtis Junior Cooper, 34, of Henley Croft, Dalton. Possession of a bladed article, namely a machete, in a public place, and drove without insurance or a licence on George Street, Huddersfield, on October 16. Driving licence endorsed with eight points. Handed an eight-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. Ordered to pay a £115 surcharge and £85 costs. Weapon seized.

Jordan Lee Miller, 26, of Quarry Road, Millbridge, Liversedge. Failed to comply with the requirements of a community order as did not attend unpaid work induction on September 18 and 25. Order varied - 12 hours of unpaid work to be completed within the next 12 months.

Mark Crompton, 38, of Green Lane, Greetland. Speeding on Skircoat Road, Halifax, on March 2. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.

Angela Haigh, 51, of Victoria Street, Cleckheaton. Damaged a car in Cleckheaton between June 30 and July 3. Fined £20 and ordered to pay £500 compensation and a £30 surcharge.

Darren James Mooney, 38, of Burnsall Court, Chesil Bank, Quarmby. Failed to comply with the requirements of a community order as was absent from place of curfew on various dates and times, from October 10 to October 19. Community order revoked. Dealt with for original offences of theft. Jailed for 10 weeks.

Dean Barlow, 47, of The Crescent, Ravensthorpe. Drunk and disorderly behaviour in a public place, namely The Crescent, Ravensthorpe, Dewsbury, on August 1. Fined £54 and ordered to pay a £30 surcharge and £200 costs.

Rawson Lee Hepworth, 38, of Chapel Lane, Heckmondwike. Used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour at McDonald’s, Heckmondwike, on December 10, 2016. Fined £80 and ordered to pay a £30 surcharge and £85 costs.

Adam Sean Hayes, 24, of Turnsteads Mount, Cleckheaton. Used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour in Batley. Community order made with a rehabilitation activity requirement of up tor 10 days. Restraining order made until November 19, 2019. Ordered to pay £50 compensation and £100 costs.

Adam Rhodes 37, of Church Avenue, Longwood. Driving while disqualified and without insurance on Bradford Road, Batley, on April 2. Handed a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, with a rehabilitation activity requirement of up to 25 days and 60 hours of unpaid work to be completed in next 12 months. Ordered to pay a £115 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for nine months.

Safdar Ali, 40, of Grasscroft Road, Marsh. Application made to amend the requirements of a community order by extending the time to complete unpaid work. Order varied.

Dominic Steven Gettings, 25, of Leeds Road, Shaw Cross, Dewsbury. Failed to comply with the requirements of a community order as did not attend unpaid work sessions on October 17 and 24. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £50 costs.

Thomas Luke Varley, 23, of Crimble Bank, Slaithwaite. Committed assault, damaged a UPVC door and made off without a taxi fare, all on Batley Road, Heckmondwike, on July 15. Community order made for 60 hours of unpaid work to be completed within the next 12 months. Ordered to pay £100 compensation.

Timothy John Broadhead, 45, of Sandstone Lane, Crosland Moor. Application made to remove a restraining order. Restraining order removed.

Mark Downend, 48, of no fixed address, c/o Dewsbury Job Centre. Used threatening or abusive words or behaviour and was in possession of cannabis, both in Dewsbury on March 29. Fined £260 in total and ordered to pay a £30 surcharge and £620 costs. Cannabis to be forfeited and destroyed.

Adam Michael Rothery, 35, of Wain Brow, Berry Brow. Caused £500 of damage to a window in Huddersfield on May 14. Fined £160 and ordered to pay £100 compensation, a £30 surcharge and £200 costs.

Daniel Luke Quarmby, 29, of Royds Avenue, Paddock. Driving without a licence or insurance on Brackenhall Road, Huddersfield, on June 1. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.

Shane Smith, 23, of Moor End Road, Lockwood. Used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards to people on Manchester Road, Huddersfield, on September 17. Community order made with an attendance centre requirement of 15 hours and a rehabilitation activity requirement of up to 15 days. Ordered to pay an £85 surcharge and £175 costs.

Also committed fraud as stole a hoover and returned it to customer service at Dunelm Mill, Huddersfield, on October 13 and did the same with a CD player on Northgate, Cleckheaton, on September 13. Also stole hair straighteners worth £70 from Tesco, Northgate, Cleckheaton, on November 7 and committed assault on Northgate, Cleckheaton, on November 14. Committed while subject to a suspended sentence. Dealt with for the original offences of theft. Suspended sentence imposed and jailed for eight weeks. Ordered to pay a £115 surcharge.

Donna Catherine Amey, 32, of Alder Street, Fartown. Stole cosmetics worth £12.99 from TK Maxx, Huddersfield, on June 16. Also assaulted two people in Huddersfield on the same date and assaulted another person in Huddersfield on October 21. Failed to surrender to custody at Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court on November 21. Jailed for 22 weeks. Criminal behaviour order made for three years. Ordered to pay a £115 surcharge.

Lee Astin, 38, of Plantation Drive, Newsome. Handled stolen goods at Marks and Spencer, Huddersfield, on April 28. Discharged conditionally for six months. Ordered to pay a £20 surcharge and £85 costs.

Bradley Darren East, 21, of Willans Road, Dewsbury. Caused £150 of damage to a taxi partition screen on Aldams Road, Dewsbury, on July 1. Ordered to pay £150 compensation.

Robert Brett Mellor, 57, of Coppice Drive, Netherton. Drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely Huddersfield Royal Infirmary on November 15. Committed while subject to a conditional discharge. Fined £120 and ordered to pay a £30 surcharge.

Aaron Lyndon John O’Keefe, 19, of Manchester Road, Huddersfield. Stole a watch worth £30 and dog harnesses and toys worth £59 from Great Northern Retail Park, Huddersfield, on November 6. Community order made with a rehabilitation activity requirement of up to 15 days. Ordered to pay £180 compensation and an £85 surcharge.
