A COWLERSLEY woman has appeared in court after allowing her property to be used for producing drugs.
Teresa Weldrick, of South Avenue, was before Kirklees magistrates yesterday.
The 24-year-old let cannabis be produced at a property at Red Doles Road, Fartown.
She had been convicted at a previous hearing and the case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report. However, the Huddersfield bench was told she twice failed to meet the probation service.
Weldrick was told she should be jailed for missing the appointments, but they agreed to give the mum-of-two another chance after hearing she had struggled to obtain childcare.
Weldrick was bailed to next appear before the court on March 7 for sentence.
