YOUNGSTERS can get crafty at Oakwell Hall Country Park on Saturday.
The young environmentalists can enjoy making something special for their mothers and grandmothers before Mothering Sunday the next day.
Children can use their artistic talents to make paper plate flowers, a collage card, a field of flowers painting or cross-stitch a flower.
Mums can also make the most of the situation and go for a peaceful walk around the park and gardens while these colourful masterpieces are being created.
Emma Crowley, Oakwell ranger, said: "I'm a mum too and I'd appreciate something my children have made, much more than something bought."
The event, at the park in Birstall, is aimed at children aged eight to 12 years and will be from 10am to noon.
The session is free but places must be booked in advance by contacting the Oakwell Hall Country Park, tel: 01924 326240.
