A 41-YEAR-OLD Meltham man has been released by police after a teenager was critically hurt in a road accident at Meltham.
His car was in collision with a group of teenagers in Station Street at 12.20am on Saturday.
A 17-year-old youth suffered serious head injuries following the incident but is now in a stable condition.
Four other teenagers were also taken to hospital.
The man, who was driving a silver Vauxhall Vectra is understood to have been attacked by a crowd following the collision.
