A HUDDERSFIELD man killed in a motorway crash was named today.

He was Nicholas Ducey, 40, from Bradley.

He was killed at about 11pm on Thursday, when his green Fiat Cinquecento was hit by a lorry near Hartshead Moor service station on the M62.

It is thought that Mr Ducey's car may have broken down on the westbound carriageway, just after Junction 26 at Chain Bar.

The lorry, which was carrying meat, hit the car and Mr Ducey's vehicle was crushed under the lorry's cab.

Mr Ducey was trapped in the cab when both vehicles burst into flames.

The lorry driver, a 41-year-old Wakefield man, was unhurt. He was arrested.
