FREE TRAINING courses in creative skills are being offered to people in Kirklees.

Podcast-posting, DJ mixing, film-making and storytelling are some of the courses available as part of an eight-week scheme by the Creative Futures organisation.

The sessions – for two days a week during September and October – offer people the chance to learn skills in subjects ranging from TV, music and theatre to graphic design, internet radio broadcasting and camera equipment.

They will be held at venues across Huddersfield and are being offered to anyone living in Kirklees aged 18 and over.

The programme is being run by Cida, the Creative Industries Development Agency, and is being paid for by the Yorkshire Forward development agency.
