Crimefighters turned crime writers, Bob and Carol Bridgestock, have donated signed books to the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.
Bob, a retired Huddersfield detective, and Carol a former police civilian, are working on the latest series of ITV crime drama Scott and Bailey.
Bob and Carol have forged new careers as a crime writing duo and have just released their fourth book, Snow Kills.
The couple recently held a story-writing competition for children in Calderdale, and the winners were: 1 – Isabelle Williamson, 2 – Karam Atwal and 3 – James Raw.
The winner of the poetry competition was Chardonnay Simpson.
