MUM-of-five Michelle Jeffrey, of Crosland Moor, had her head shaved to raise over £200 for the Oliver Field Appeal.

Ms Jeffrey had her hair shorn, at the Craven Heifer pub, Crosland Moor, for the appeal in aid of Dalton toddler Oliver Field, who is battling a rare form of cancer.

Michelle, 44, said: “It was worth it and I would definitely do it again.

“The Oliver Field Appeal really got me; he’s a beautiful little lad.”

A charity group in Huddersfield are to host an event in aid of the Oliver Field Appeal, backing the Dalton toddler fighting cancer.

The ‘Big Iconic Reunion’ charity party is at the Irish Centre in Huddersfield on Friday, June 7, from 7pm. Impact2Inspire a local voluntary fundraising group working with Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing, have organised the event themed around 90s music featuring local dancers Bgirl Fidget, breaking dancing, DMF (Fresh Factory) body popping, and DJ and singer Audley Buckle.
