IT’S not every day you pull up into the works car park alongside a super SLS Mercedes and a racing car.

But staff at Cummins were holding a classic car rally in aid of the White Knights, a volunteer group who take out-of-hours blood samples and X-rays to hospitals across the region.

Henry Carr, a component engineer who owns a Fisher Fury racing car, said: “We hold an interesting vehicles day every year to raise money for charity and this year we chose the White Knights.

“Traditionally people at Cummins have brought the cars along but we opened it out to dealers this year.”An auction to drive the cars and other prizes helped to raise money for the charity.
