QUARMBY teenager Lauren Tibbott has proved herself queen of the dance floor in a regional competition.
Lauren, 16, won four categories and scored the highest mark of the competition at Barnsley Festival of Dance on February 16 and 17.
Lauren won the Yorkshire Senior Tap Championship, the E and S tap category, the senior modern class and the senior tap duet class, dancing with Ella Marshall.
Both Lauren and Ella are pupils of the Patricia Stoj School of Theatre Dance in Lindley.
Lauren has been a pupil at the school since she was seven, studying ballet, tap and modern dance styles.
The talented teenager will start Greenhead College next year and hopes to pursue a career in dance after her studies.
