PUPILS from two schools met to celebrate communication through dance.

Youngsters from Holmfirth High School and Fartown High School joined forces to choreograph their own performance of Two Conversations.

Students from Years seven to 11 took part in workshops with Leeds- based Phoenix Dance Theatre in February.

Fifteen pupils from each school were chosen to devise their own production. Some are seen rehearsing with Theo Ndindwa (left), of Phoenix.

The piece was performed at Holmfirth High School and last night at Fartown High School.

Chris Deering, head of drama at Holmfirth High School, said: "It was lovely to see both schools working together and pupils from all different age groups taking part."
